This is an owner run hotel with a passion for the business. A beautifully designed and built place, this is one of the better places we have stayed in the world. I have stayed here 5 times and enjoyed it every time. It is like visiting family now. Nothing is too hard, excellent breakfast - best boiled egg I have ever had. I am going back again this year :)

This is an excellent hotel. The owner Luka is extremely helpful and friendly.The price of the accommodation is very reasonable and the breakfast was lovely. We tried 3 of the 5 restaurants that Luka recommended, and they were all very good. It is a really well run hotel,with free wi-fi and an honesty bar. Highly recommended.

We opted to not go with the high price lake view rooms at other hotels. Garni Hotel Berc was a five minute walk down to the lake and the perfect place to stay! We had an excellent stay here end of Feb 2012, in room 2, for 3 nights. Luka the host made us feel welcome despite us travelling off season and for 1 evening, being the only guests!
