The Marmara Hotel has beige carpeting which is stained and needs replacing, but the hotel itself is very clean, has an excellent breakfast selection which is constantly replenished, and is a good value. My only complain is the arrangement the hotel has with a taxi company. My husband was hospitalized and I had to extend our stay two nights. I... More

I cannot understand recent reviews of this hotel giving it high ratings. The hotel carpets are filthy throughout, both in the hallways and in the rooms. They need to be replaced. You wonder what diseases lurk underneath. Our room also had burned out light bulbs and the shower head sprayed all over the place. There is no concierge service and... More

Good location, very clean. Limited in terms of food / bar offerings, but just a short walk away from several eating establishments.

A great medium-sized hotel near Nyugati railway station. Easily accesible from the airport with metro line M3 from Kőbánya-Kispest end of the line (you get there by bus No 200 in front of terminal 2). Very good breakfast with large variety. Rooms, a bit small, but very nicely decorated with an Eastern-style motif.

The hotel is located in central Budapest not far from one of the main train stations. Several tram lines run nearby as well. It's situated close to Parliament building and Danube. It is a designer hotel with comfortable rooms, modern reception and breakfast area. There are two lifts in the hotel. In the room we stayed in there was a... More

A very nice hotel in a convenient but relatively quiet location. The room was clean, comfortable and modern,a little on the small side but very nice.A kettle and cups were supplied but no coffee or tea so bring your own.Breakfast was the usual sort of thing that you come to expect , nothing out of the ordinary but very adequate and... The hotel is situated in a good location, however I wouldn’t say you are in the hub of the action. It is around 15-20 minutes walk in into the centre. Tram access is a stones throw away – literally around the corner. We were graced with lovely weather so walked everywhere; it is fairly easy to navigate around the city,... More

The good: new hotel, designer rooms, centrally located, amazing value for money. The bad: very light carpets, corridors that are not cleaned daily, some broken fixtures, no wifi. The ugly:Front office manager that is borderline rude, waiters that start to remove breakfast before the time. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is within walking distance... We took minibus from airport to hotel, and the distance between hotel and city centre was perfect. Just out of the noisy centre, but reachable with foot... recommended by metro. Hotel was overall handy, lobby and reception was fine. Service was very good, thanks to piccolo/bartender :) Rooms were small, but clean and just enough for couple. Window to the... More
