The hotel would have received a decent review except for one incident that occurred as we were leaving. My husband and I had purchased and brought with us two wine glasses from Vienna and left them on the desk so we wouldn't break them in the suitcase until we left. The housekeeping people, assuming they were the hotel glasses (even... More

Dear Madam, First of all, I would like to thank you for staying at Ramada Plaza Budapest. As my colleague wrote to you yesterday, please be assured that our staff, -the room maids, Housekeeping Supervisors and F&B Manager and the Quality Supervisor-, have already checked several times the lost and found items, but unfortunately none of them had found your... We were a group of friends looking for a good, inexpensive new city to visit for a mixture of history, food and a little beer or wine. Budapest did not disappoint, and the Ramada worked for us on a number of levels. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was at a very high level. Some of the earlier postings about... More

Hotel in general was great, a la carte restaurant was excellent value for the quality of food, desserts were outstanding and beautifully presented. Head waiter very friendly and a great help with local info, taxi help etc. The Spa was less than a relaxing experience, very busy over Easter and constantly full of kids throwing balls screaming etc at all... This is my first review and the reason I wrote this because the hotel is not as good as mentioned by other visitors and I should say the first horrible hotel experience I ever had. There is an elderly with a pair of glasses who works in the reception and he was absolutely unfriendly, unhelpful, and rude. He never focused... More

I stayed here for four days and whilst the hotel is not quite the 5 star is claims (more like a decent four star) my stay was good with no major problems. There were a few minor things - hair in the bath on check in (promptly cleaned when I complained), air conditioning in the room which, whilst working, was... More

This was my third stay at this hotel, and I'm liking it better each time. The staff are friendly and helpful, the resaurant is excellent, and though this is a little away from central Budapest there's a surprising amount to see and do nearby or you can use the excellent public transport links to get to anywhere in Budapest easily.... Went to Budapest 18/11-21/11 with bf and stayed here at Ramada Plaza. Friendly staff, good at english as that it was the only language we could communicate in. They had a nice bar/lounge, you had to be a guest at the hotel to take a drink here. At least it was as it looked like when a group of young... More
