Very good hotel in great location, right in the heart of shopping mall, close to metro, good size room. Just a pitty that most of the front desk staff wish to ignore you - 3 days of this behaviour was a huge put-off.

We had a corner room on the 7th floor looking out over the River Danube towards the Parliament buildings. The room was very spacious, beautifully appointed, extremely comfortable and with a fabulous view. The free wi-fi connection available throughout the hotel was reliable and very fast. The breakfast offered was substantial, with lots of choices including freshly cooked hot food... More

Wow what can I say. Fantastic! Every room has a view of the Danube and the Parliament building is spectacular all lit up at night. Actually most of the attractions are lit up at night in Budapest, so the hotel is in a wonderful location to take an evening stroll across the Charles Bridge and back to see both sides... More

Besides being a part of Hungarian heritage, Victoria hotel is perfectly located. Large, clean rooms, in combination with unparallel hospitality and service, will make you to stop searching for the better place in Budapest. Highly recommended place for business trip or vacation in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.

We arrived at night and on entering our 7th floor room, a breathtaking view of the lit up Parliament House , the Chain Bridge and other bridges across the Danube, and passing river boats greeted us !! The only view missing was that of the Buda Castle as it is behind the hotel ! In the morning there was a... More

This 4 star hotel has, what I believe, is the best view in Budapest. It sits right on the Buda side of the Danube just north of the Chain Bridge. At night looking out the picture window of our room it appears as if we were in an enchanted land. The lit up Parliament building is to the left, the... More

We just returned from beautiful Budapest .We only had a weekend to spend ,so we wanted a Hotel near all the major sites of interest .Hotel Victoria proved to be ideal ,since everything was not only in walking distance ,but you could see Danube ,the Parliament and the Chain Bridge from your room .If it had a balcony ,you wouldn't... I knew I was going to love this hotel based on the reviews and photos on this site--and I was right. Apparently, the rooms have undergone a recent make-over because they look remarkably updated then shown in the previous photos. I had a corner room on the 2nd floor with a remarkable view. I'd previously read that being on a... More

From the moment we entered the hotel, we found everyone very efficient and friendly. We have never checked in and received our room key so quickly. As we opened our door the view that greeted us out of the window really had a "Wow" factor - the Danube, Parliament, St Stephen's Basilica and Szechenyi Bridge. We didn't think it could... More
