This hotel is a perfect budget hotel and ticks all the boxes for me and my party. The hotel is in a great location - only a short walk to central area. It has various bars, convenience shops and cash machine within 50 meters. The hotel itself was very clean, the beds very comfortable, the showers hot and powerful and... More

My dad and I arrived on bank holiday Easter Monday to Friday coming home in April. The location is handy and we learning with it. The view of hotel is ok. The room was clean despite the crack on the bathroom sink need fixed. Also the breakfast was excellent of good food. The staff was polite and tell you what... More

This hotel is in a back street of Buda, the area is quite rundown and there is lots of grafiti around the area. The hotel room was basic but clean. The breakfast was good, there was plenty of it. The lift only went to the 4th floor and we were on the 5th floor but that was by request. We... More

The Kings Hotel is on a narrow street in District VII of Budapest on the Pest side of the Danube. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms, although not particularly big, were very clean and comfortable. The hotel is situated a short walk away from some of the major attractions of the city and close to tram... More

Before traveling back home we forgot to order a taxi to bring us to the airport from the hotel. At the hotel reception they offered us a transfer - on cheap price. We got an old very dirty (inside and outside) opel (that was probably too old to use it in poor Africa), and it costed us double price the... More

We stayed at the Kings Hotel as a group of 8 friends. We found the reception staff incredibly friendly and helpful however the hotel bar did not have gin & tonic, fresh orange, coca cola or black tea or coffee! All they could offer was beer or whisky. The single lift in the building went out of order during our... More

Kings is very well located for most of Budapest's attractions. We spent three days here and walked each day in a different direction visiting most of the main sites. The surroundings are not very smart but it is acceptable for the price paid. And that goes for the hotel as a whole. The fittings are simple and comfortable and everything... More

I didnt expect it to be very good on reading some of the reviews, but I have to say "being a person who will complain if justified", I found the experience very pleasant. Service excellent, room (single) very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was fulfilling with good choice and even tried the supposed "greasy spoon" food. This was also surprisingly very... More
