Just back from a week stay in Hotel Mercure City Center. The hotel is in the centre of Budapest, a stone's throw away from the Danube. My room was cleaned to the highest standards every day, very comfy bed and modern bathroom. At breakfast you have a great choice of everything and the stuff was very friendly and helpful. Highly... Great location and a really neat hotel at really good price. There are no rooms with a view as hotel is in between other high buildings but location compensate for that. All staff are incredibly helpful and genuinely interested in giving you the best advice. It was a perfect choice for a weekend in Budapest. Don't look any further!!! More

Location: more than perfect! Kindness and hospitality: super! Cleanness: excellent! Breakfast: complete and tasty! Price: fine! Size of room: a bit small but... again fine! Only wellness center and gym are missing but they can suggest many of them in the proximity of the hotel and for few euros, so... again fine! Excellent experience, THANKS! More

If you want a great stay, easy and near to everything- choose this hotel. When you step out of this hotel you are on the pedestrian street, alot of restaurants pick from and close to all shopping. If time is short in Budapest I would recommend this hotel with good sized room and fairly newly renovated/redone furniture and beds. The... More

On my visit to study Spa facilities in Hungary I stayed the first and last night in Budapest.
