Nice hotel for the money. Got ripped off in bar first night, €14.10 for a sandwich and beer. Room clean but a bit noisy. Be aware of the local mafia operating down town on the toursit stretch. They will clean you out in 10 minutes and you wont even know it. More

Reception staff particularly hepful. Good location - close to tourist sites but hidden away off the main roads. More

Good location, close to metro and main attractions. Friendly staff, good room and nice (but simple) breakfast. They also have a parking area, but price is expensive (Eur 17.00 / day) Internet connection (wifi) is quite poor, so you can also use a cable, but you'll have to pay around Eur 15.00 / day. More

We stayed here on a 4 night mini break in June. The location is good for getting around the city. Public transport in Budapest is excellent. I recommend buying tickets for the hop on hop off bus tour. They pick up from all over the city and you can buy the tickets in the hotel reception. The hotel itself was... More

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights in early October and found the hotel to be reasonable but were disappointed with some aspects. The room itself was not too bad in size and the beds were comfortable (2 single's pushed together), however the bathroom was dirty and the shower doors did not close. The towels were extremely worn... More

Hotel mercure museum is a very lovely and confortable hotel. We stayed for a hole week - end inside the hotel to taste a very good service: nice rooms, nice swimming pool, sauna, turkye bath e lovely people. Budapest is the best place we've ever seen!!! The next time we will come back to the Mercure Museum Hotel!!! More

All was well until I smelled the towels. They smelled of vomit ... for two days and in two different rooms. That was just a temporary problem. Note that half the rooms in the hotel don't have in-room safes with Accor describe as one of the room details. Other than that, this is a perfectly average Mercure. Oh, except for... More

Stayed for 2 nights, rooms were clean and tidy & free wifi worked great. Hotel was around 10 mins from main area of Budapest so is ideal for sight seeing. For what we paid can highly recommend and I'd stay again. More
