The stuff is very helpfull and friendly like all the people in Budapest. It seems that everybosy speaks english in this city. Use the tourist bus to visit Budapest. There is a busstop (hop/of) reallly near to the hotel More

I stayed at this property in March 2012 as part of a packaged tour. I had a room to myself as I was travelling solo. The room that I had was plenty big for one person. In fact it had a very high ceiling paired with a curiously low bed which probably made the room seem much bigger than it... More

Stayed at this location for three nights and the service was impeccable. Located within minutes walk from central shopping disctrict in city; but tram and metro station is just across the street for the less adventerous. Room was of average size though well appointed. Your not in Europe on vacation to stay in your room!! Also the room was well... More

If I could give this hotel two-and-a-half stars out of five, I would - it is distinctly average, but is fine simply as a base for exploring the city and as a place to sleep. We stayed there for four nights at the beginning of April, and while it was not the four-star experience we had expected when we booked,... More

The hotel Mercure Metropol in Budapest is a beautiful modern hotel with a very nice ambiance. The rooms are large, very clean and have flat screen tv's, a minibar (very reasonably priced) and airco. I just missed the tea making facilities. The hotel is very quiet, rooms are well isolated. The hotel has a small but nice breakfast area. However... More

We stayed there for 2 nights. Don't know about all rooms in the hotel, but we got very large room, with huge doors leading to balcony with the view of the main street. The room was clean and quiet. Parking is quite pricey, 16 Eur per day, even though same facillity where the hotel parking is, offers private parking, 10... More

Rooms were small and older. Had bad allergies during our stay there. The rooms were nice and warm but too warm at times. Thermostat is fixed so just open the windows for fresh air. Unfortunately, You can also hear some neighbor's muffled conversations. Can't complain about the nice hot showers though. Breakfast is very good and plentiful. Wait staff is... More
