It was a reasonable priced hotel with good amenities. It needed however a renovation soon. Good breakfast and very helpful hotel staff. We are transiting Budapest, so it was quite well located for us. However, I wouldn't recommend it for those who wish to visit the capital. More

I just want to warn anyone staying at the Aquarius and considering eating at the inhouse 'restaurant' - if you are a vegetarian, this has to be one of the worst eating experiences around. Fried camembert wedges in factory orange breadcrumbs, served with rice and raisins. Very dry, no salad, very industrial and nasty tasting food. Not recommended! The swimming... More

reasonable hotel but located too far out of town, nothing, but nothing, to do in the surrounding area, situated close to industrial area, motorway and train line, so couldn't even go for a walk! Expect to pay at least 30 euro for a taxi from the airport, we booked in advance and that was the best deal. Public transport is good,... More

When we booked we were really looking forward to a quiet hotel in the country surrounded by beautiful vineyards. The road leading to the hotel was not what we expected - the nearby shops were dirty, derelict and poor . The entrance to the hotel was a construction zone as they were making a bus terminal in the front and... More

Booked through Expedia, we chose this hotel because we wanted a decent spot in Budapest with a swimming pool. On arrival it was immediately obvious that there would be no swimming, as the pool was empty. We were too tired to sort this out on arrival and after checking our booking realised that Expedia offered more than a booking facility.... More

The hotel is situated "in the sticks" about a 30 minute bus ride from the city centre; fortunately the bus seems to run about every 15 minutes, although I always made the return trip from the city before 11.00pm. Unfortunately I wouldn't describe the location as rural or idyllic. Not only are there no vineyards within sight of the hotel,... More

We picked this hotel for our family of 5 because of the price and size (according to what I read on this site). First the pros: 1. The suite was a good size for our family. 2. The front desk staff during the day was excellent. They were very helpful. The night staff was not so. 3. Free parking and... More

The hotel was new and felt like a 4 star hotel at a 2 star price. We got a suite for our family of four and had plenty of room. The rooms were clean and felt like a nice apartment more than a hotel room. The pool was tile, not concrete, with beautiful patterns in the tile work. It also... More

This is an excellent place to stay although it is 35 minutes away from the city centre. The hotel has good comfort, an excellent breakfast buffet and a swimming pool. But above all: it has dedicated hotel staff, always at the service of their guests, knowing their needs and working pro actively. This is the reason why I would come... More

What a horrible place. Although this hotel is in the "wine and champagne region" outside the center of Budapest, there is a landfill right in back, not necessarily scenic in my opinion. I inquired as to any nearby vineyards and got a vacant look as the staff informed me that there were none. There was no internet upon request. In... More
