We arrived here on Friday afternoon for two nights and learnt that our booking was lost. Luckily we were nicely rearranged to 5 star Ramada suite with the same price for the first night. We've stayed at the Shakespeare twice on our visits to Vilnius. Overall its difficult to fault this establishment. The staff exhibit an excellent level of customer service and speak English fluently. The rooms exude 'old style' charm as does the hotel in general, with beautiful seating areas & excellent a la carte breakfasts.

Small, charming, eclectic. Breakfast cooked to order in the morning. We did not like our room at first and they did everything possible to move us to the 3rd floor and a bigger room. The staff Is most accommodating and sweet.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Very friendly and very helpful staff. Ask for rooms away from the street and splurge a little to get the bigger rooms. Great location. Nice restaurant with good food. I would stay here again.

This is my third stay in this charming hotel and the first to disappoint. Avoid rooms on ground floor at all costs. They are very noisy at night. Bed is tiny and lumpy. Chair is hard. Shower is awkward. Room is small and Spartan. In short, not to be recommended.

Very pleasant hotel with attentive service. Generous breakfast but not especially great food, though very nice airy dining rooms. Room small, bathroom large & quite wonderful, bed a bit lumpy and covers didn't quite cover. Also, inadequate reading lights in bedroom. But, great view of trees and church and overall, very good.

Rooms are unnumbered but named after famous authors. In each room pictures of that author and examples of her or his works. Very hospitable staff, both in reception, housekeeping and restaurant.
