The hostel is in the very center at walking distance from all Riga attractions. I stayed at the Doma Hostel in April 2007 and had a reasonably enjoyable stay. I can handle a 'less-than' fantastic hostel, but when a property showcases themselves as 'newly renovated in january 2006' and clearly is not - i can not abide false advertising or blatant lying! The hostel has an excellent location right in the centre of the old town. Although this means it can get a little loud occasionally with people coming out of pubs in the evening, the location is unbeatable for all of Riga's top sights as well as all the restaurants and bars.
