Sweet location right in the heart of the old town, beautiful building and actually arather lovely view from the dorm window. It was clean and friendly and the desk was manned 24 hours so all in all good times. Lacked a kitchen which was annoying but yeah otherwise good.

While location is very good indeed there were some things i didn't really apreciate. It was rather cold, some of rooms are connected doors with another so it can be quite loud if you have neighbours. We booked a room in the hostel far in advance but when we came to the hostel we were told that there was no room and they had booked another hostel for us. The main point was the location and thus we were greatly dissatisfied. Besides the staff claimed they gave us a notice by e-mail which was not true.

Chip hostel with good city location - all museus and restraunts is near. But a lot of old staff in hotel and there is no promised Wi-Fi there. Staff is nice. good to stay in with company of friends for a couple days

Very basic hostel with excellent location in the centre of the Old Town. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was disappointed because they never mentioned that payment with credit cards wasn't accepted. Also free WiFi wasn't available as they had promised. Be aware that there isn't a lift at the hostel. However, location and price for this hostel are unbeatable!

Really well located and quite easy to access even during the snowy winters. But, inside the hostel, quite a lot of stairs so be warned... people with leg cast and so on might have troubles. As the name implies it is located right next to the Dome Cathedral, in the centre of Riga old town, brilliant location.
