A simply amazing hotel in a beautiful town. We've visited a few times and had our wedding here in July 2007. The restoration is lovely and it blends the old and new beautifully. Each room is slightly different and to 5 star standard. The food is out if this world and the staff treated us like royalty. Its so stylish... More

We have visited Pousada da Convento Da Graca several times in the last year in preparation for our wedding at the start of September. We absolutely love it, the cloisters is exactly what we were looking for and the location in the centre of the beautiful, uncommercialised town of Tavira is fantastic. We have not stayed there yet but we... More

We stayed in Tavira for five days at the Pousada, in a two bedroom suite with a small garden. We adored Tavira, particularly the beach. The hotel was ok, but we felt they did not maximize the potential of this elegant property. The location and restored convent are lovely, but the service was uninspired (other than a couple of helpful... More

Pousada da Convento Da Graca, is a large and imposing hotel, easy to reach from the main road from Tavira to Faro in the old town. It has a modern feel even tough it was once an Augustinian Monastery. It is very quiet and comfortable. The standard of decor is high. There is a swimming pool and bars and restaurant. Car parking... This was a return visit after some 3 years and on this occasion we had our 14 year old Grandaughter with us. We stayed longer than most guests - a week. Before I go further let me say that the staff from top to bottom were excellent - a credit to the Portuguese hospitality industry- they could not have been... More

We loved our stay here in this elegant and peaceful converted convent. Our room was spacious and comfortable and there were lots of pleasant areas to sit and relax either in the charming courtyard, round the pool or in the large bar/lounge area. Breakfast was included in our package and ehere was lots of choice. This was our second visit... More

We stayed at this Hotel in December 2011.it is a very well restaured old Monastary, and a very nice hotel to stay. Nice and cosy rooms, the staff is very kind . The hotel is very well located, close to the old centre of tavira which is very beautiful. We had a very nice and peaceful weekend and certainly will... More

This Hotel is in the most peaeful & pleasnant part of the town. The Hotel is an ex-monestary and still has all the characteristics/ Its expensive (by Portugeuse standards) at 105 euros a night for a double with breakfast but well worth it. The only slight downside is the restaurant which isn't as good as the one 200 meters away... More

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful place. The location is central and yet up the hill away from the noise with a quiet park across the street. The narrow cobbled streets leading to the hotel add to the charm as you explore the town. The room was very quiet, comfortable and modern in all respects. The breakfasts were delicious and... More

A four day stay in January. Warm welcome from reception and other staff friendly. Historic building, full of character, but modern and comfortable rooms, though we were disturbed by noise from a next door room after midnight. The hotel is well located close to the centre of Tavira and a short stroll to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent but... More
