We have just completed our stay at the Hotel Schutzen and really enjoyed our stay. We were lucky to have room 29 that had a balcony that overlooked five waterfalls. We visited in the offseason, so I cannot rate the restaurant, but the hotel was very nice and well-maintained with a friendly staff. The rooms are comfortable and the location is very convenient, just a few minutes walk from the train and cable car stations in Lauterbrunnen and a few more minutes walk from Staubbach falls.

We stayed here because of its location to the mountains. We were lucky to be there in the off season and were given a room with a balcony and a view.
