My husband and I have stayed on two occasions. Great price - $95 incl very adequate continental breakfast. John the host most helpful. Also free email access for guests. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Highly recommended.

Spent one quick night while passing through Picton. Very friendly, clean and tidy place. Good value with a nice breakfast thats included. Just a tad noisy because the people next door were chatting till late.

My wife and I visited this hotel for 3 days from 20th to 23rd February 2012. It is situated 2 blocks from the waterfront and round the corner from most restaurants. Glory and John, our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Glory took us to Picton ferry on the last morning as it was raining even though the ferry is... More

We stayed at this B and B for a single night in mid-December. It is conveniently located close to the Interislander ferry terminal. The views are blocked by a large motel complex across the road. We paid $130 for a nights accommodation and a continental breakfast. The room was a good size and comfortable although the ensuite was somewhat small.... More

Great location, very clean and comfortable. Caring, helpful management. Picton is worth a longer visit than most people give it. Don't miss taking a boat out to get on the Queen Charlotte walking track, stay over or get picked up later in the day. Great and not too taxing. We just had to return to do some more of this... More

Wonderful place to stay for anyone on a non extravagent budget. Extremely friendly hosts, which really made it for us. Lovely homely feel. Lovely breakfast in a nice living area. Whole property extremely clean, homely, very nicely decorated and professionally upkept. Frontage definitely needs sprucing up, as it doesn't adequately portray the wondeful interior. New managers are working on this.... More

We had a lovely stay at the Admirals Lodge with John and Glory - I believe they were new managers that had only been there a couple of weeks. We found the lodge as we were driving around Picton looking for somewhere to stay and noticed their sandwich board sign with the nights prices on it. We had a clean... More

Read reviews and looked forward to staying here! Very disappointed! We had the Captain's Cabin and were told we wouldn't need/want to leave. There was outside seating but It was raining and there was no indoor seating (except the bed). The outside BBQ had cockroaches in it and little gas - no outside light- had to ask for a pot... More

We stayed in a very characterful room with a four-poster bed but hardly any wardrobe space, just a rail over the fridge! The Lodge is an old building which has been tastefully refurbished. There was free internet but no working guest telephones available. Tasty breakfasts were served by the jovial manager in a pleasant breakfast room.
