We booked this before seeing some of the other (negative) reviews amd were a bit nervous about what we might find...but had a very pleasant surprise to find our room perfectly clean, obviously recently refitted with a sparkling,shiny bathroom and everything we needed. Thanks very much!
Penthouse apartment very spacious with a fantastic view. Some maintenance issues however need to be addressed. We have stayed at this hotel a number of times and it has always been a relaxing stay. Although make sure you book a room with a view over the harbor. Rooms facing the road are too small and have a lot of road noise.
The Mecrcure Picton has a great view of the Marina and down the inner Queen Charlotte Sound, the penthouse is a fabulous spot for taking in these views, a verty spacious living area and comfortable beds. cant fault the room as been upgraded since last time we stayed. couldve had small deck chairs on small balcony as this wouldve been a nice spot for early evening drinks.
the breakfast (continental and partly cooked meaning making your own omletes) was awesome.. much to choose from,and i dint leave hungry.
staff was awesome...
