Stayed one night before crossing to Wellington. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and nicely laid out. We had free wifi and everything we needed. Just outside the motel was a nice strip of shops with plenty of choices for food. Excellent value.

wonderful place to stay, and nice friendly service with very good interior of rooms,,,i always go for this motel whenever i go to picton for sure,,nicely situated in middle of the town so easy to get any takeaways , nice parking space, nice couple handling it, kent and marie both are so friendly. overall very very good experience.

Cleanliness and hospitality is brilliant. I come to Gateway on my travels through to the North Island and always stay here. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Thanks guys I'll be seeing you again.

Great place to stay. In the heart of town and very pretty. Rooms are lovely and clean (and warm). Owners are amazing. Really caring and helpful. I was travelling alone and the manager helped me with a good road trip for the next day which turned out to be a highlight of my trip. Thank you!!

The hospitality here is amazing, it's like you're part of the family! Our room was quiet, immaculate and the shower was great! Excellent value for money in central location. Friendly, helpful advice was offered on local attractions, restaurants etc. We will certainly stay here again!
