You must try this Hotel if staying in Trinidad, Cuba! It is totally remodeled and in a great location in the center of town. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated. But what makes this hotel special is the staff. They are All fabulous! Every day the maids leave you different works of art made from towels. The wait staff... More

We were a group of 4 travelling around Cuba in April 2012. We found this hotel by accident and it was one of the best that we stayed in. The hotel is newly renovated with brand new plumbing (a total bonus!!), power showers, super comfortable beds, great AC and cable TV. The rooms are set over an open courtyard over... More

This is a newly renovated hotel, reopened early in 2012. The lobby and central courtyard are welcoming and comfortable. Rooms are on 2 floors around the courtyard and each bears the name of a Cuban poem. Inside your room you will find the entire poem nicely framed. This was a nice touch. Beds are comfortable and the room is immaculate.... More

This small (20 rooms) hotel is a gem. Completely restored. Friendly staff. Maids go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Quiet rooms. There was some problem in the city with the water system. It was out in the middle of the night. So the staff gave each guest a gift of a bottle of rum. Nice gesture... More

the entrance to this hotel is quite small but the quality of the rooms and the service of the staff was quite outstanding! The room I had was very spacious and would have been luxurious for two people too. Each day the chambermaid took a lot of trouble in arranging the towels, together with my boxers(!) in an amusing way!... More

This is a beautifully remodeled small hotel with two floors of rooms surrounding a lovely courtyard - also a charming roof top bar . Lobby area and roof bar have stunning displays of local pottery. The staff is attentive and responsive. We had currency exchange service in mid-March. Our group enjoyed it...

Having read the old review of this hotel, I was a bit concerned when my travel agent booked me into this hotel. But it was a very pleasant surprise, since the hotel had been sold, closed down, and renovated, reopening quite recently. The location is excellent, about 1 block from the Plaza Cespedes in the old part of Trinidad, near... More

Our percptions of Trinidad were perhaps negativly shaded by being harassed by a large group of agressive beggers as we drove into the town. They attempted to stop the car at a junction and the only course of action was to keep driving. This was the only negative contact with the people of Cuba and should be taken as the... More
