I'm currently staying here, and will depart tomorrow. I stay with HIlton properties mostly so my review may be more critical than others. There are many things to like about this hotel, my room is comfortable. There are marble countertops and a full size fridge. It has all the items necessary for an extended stay including a two burner stove,... More

We stayed three nights at Homewood Suites (DC) last summer, and we're going to stay three nights there this summer. As you can guess, we really like the hotel. First, of course, every room is a suite, which is important for us--our kids have special diets and we have to cook for them ourselves. A kitchen (or kitchenette) is almost... More

I only stayed one night here but it was great. The room was clean and very large by DC standards. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have been on. It was also nice to have an almost full kitchen with dishes. This will be my new home base in DC. I highly recommend this hotel

This hotel is clean and well-maintained, with a friendly staff. All parts of the hotel I saw were up-to-date. Though it is not as fancy as some Hilton properties, it works well for families. As for the location--the hotel is one mile to the Mall. The walk is pleasant along clean, safe streets. If you have young kids, as we... More

Overall we enjoyed our stay in this hotel during the first week of April. We are a family of five, so the suite layout with two double beds and a sleeper sofa was perfect. Even though we didn't cook in the room, it was nice having the full size refrigerator for drinks and snacks. There is a Whole Foods and... More

I generally like Hilton hotels, and this one was okay. Even though I requested a non-smoking room, we were given one that was. The rooms were big, and I liked that the sink was separate from the shower/toilet area. The hotel is with in walking distance to Chinatown, the White House, and a couple of metro stations. The breakfasts were... More

So, I'm not going to repeat what most folks have mentioned - this hotel is a pretty good value for what you get in the area. I would definitely stay here again. I'm just adding some notes that may help someone else out: I just stayed overnight at the Homewood Suites on a quick trip to visit the Polish embassy... More

Couldn't get into the Hilton Garden Inn, my preference for DC. HS is about a five block walk from the nearest metro (McPherson Square). It's OK, but a bit seedy and rundown--though perfectly clean. And cheap. We stayed two nights and I wouldn't want to make this my base for a longer term visit.

I stayed there for 5 nights. The suite we stayed was quite large, rooms were clean - service was excellent even you cannot see any housekeeper around :) The room price was included wifi, buffet breakfast and dinner. Dinner buffet was simple but delicious. Hotel location was also good. It is in the middle of three metro stations, each one... More
