I only stayed one night here but it was great. The room was clean and very large by DC standards. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have been on. It was also nice to have an almost full kitchen with dishes. This will be my new home base in DC. I highly recommend this hotel

Couldn't get into the Hilton Garden Inn, my preference for DC. HS is about a five block walk from the nearest metro (McPherson Square). It's OK, but a bit seedy and rundown--though perfectly clean. And cheap. We stayed two nights and I wouldn't want to make this my base for a longer term visit.

Best value if you travel with kids.Living room got pullout bed,there are doors between rooms,kitchen stocked with stove,big refrigerator,microway,pans and pots and even dishwasher.WholeFood's Market 8 min walk,all the attractions less than 20 min walk-White House,museums you name it.Clean rooms,responsive staff,free breakfast,free WiFi.Paid parking, but since it was weekends we got free parking on the street right under the hotel.
