This place did the very best to make you feel like you were the only person that matters to them and every question was answered with a smile. The rooms were clean and updated and room service was tops! Next time in DC I will be staying here again.

The hotel is situated about 20 minute walk to the Mall. It may be too much for younger children or older adults. Especially if you will be walking around the Mall looking at sites. Embassy Suites was the perfect place to stay for the Inauguration. It is far enough (a good, long walk) from the White House, Monuments,etc. but also much more quiet. Stayed on Memorial Day weekend. Breakfast is excellent with cook to order eggs or a buffet. 2 blocks from convention center. 6 blocks from mall. Close to white house and other sites. The staff is very friendly and helpful
