Centrally located, extremely helpful and cheerful staff. Clean, but in need of some updating (eg. Carpeting in the room). Sometimes feel nickle and dimed - charged for internet acess in your room (really, who does that anymore?) and for using the business facility, and the weight room! The pool is free, but no hot tub ... C'mon, Hyatt, join the...

This is a beautiful hotel , only a few short blocks from the Smithsonian Museums, National Museum, and the Portrait Museum. The service here is great. Joseph checked me in and since he didn't have a king size bed available, he gave me 3 days of internet for free. The hotel restaurants are mid priced, cheaper than many fancy hotels in...

I have stayed in many Washington DC hotels, but this was my first time staying at the Grand Hyatt. We were there for a national Disability Policy conference, but unfortunately, by the time we booked our room there were not actually any truly accessible rooms available. We got a moderately "accessible" room with minimal space and closet with lowered rods...

Stayed here just for 1 night to celebrate memorial day festivities and the hotel itself is beautiful and VERY clean. The prices at the restaurant downstairs was reasonable. It's quiet and spacious. Would stay again :-)
Top notch accommodations, very clean and quiet. Good quality furnishings. The lobby area is very attractive, there are restaurants, a bar, and a Starbucks. No free breakfast and you have to pay for internet. The staff was professional and helpful. I got this at a bargain through Amtrak for $147. The area around the hotel seemed to have quite a...

My husband and I stayed at the Grand Hyatt during Memorial Day Weekend and were so impressed with the hotel and the staff that I would rate it the best hotel stay we had in recent years. The location on H Street is central to all attractions. But it was the friendly accommodating service that was most impressive. Everything about...

Stayed 5/26--28/12. Mem Weekend, busy hotel.
Desk staff and check in: A. Checked in at 2:30. Room requested was available but not ready till 4:30. Even though there was a guaranteed 3pm check in. It was a busy weekend though, and the front desk handled it well.
Room Cleanliness: C How can a cleaning crew miss an empty 2 litre...

This is my favorite hotel in DC. It is centrally located near a Metro stop and also is within walking distrance of Chinatown, the National Mall, Verizon Center (for concerts and sporting events) and other tourist attractions. The atrium of the hotel is stunning. I would recomment requesting a room with an atrium view rather than a city view. There...

We recently stayed in this hotel and it was great. We had previously stayed in a few different hotels in the area including the Embassy suites Chevy Chase which we had liked the best but when booking recently for an overnight trip down to DC we were disappointed to discover that the price had gone up substantially. I'm very picky...
