Getting to the hotel from the Union station was effortless. It is located 2 minutes away from the subway station and close to most monuments. The Washington Metro Center has the most pleasant front desk staff. The lobby is well maintained with good seating, a Starbucks in one corner and a restaurant in another. Good for short business meetings. The... More

Right next door to the metro and only a few blocks walk to the national mall and museums. Didn't use pool or restaurant so can't comment there. Room was clean and perfectly adequate for a short stay. Staff was fantastic, friendly and helpful at every turn.

I stayed at the Marriott Metro Center for two nights in May 2012. It is a nice, clean hotel in a convenient location. I have been here twice and will return. Pros: Location- The hotel is right next to the Metro Center Metro Station. Use the Metro for transportation around DC! It's cheap and easy. The hotel is also a... More

The hotel is very average for Marriotts. Positives: close to metro (Metro Center), restaurant has a great soup, staff is knowledgeable, and it is close to some very nice restaurants. Negatives: dated, fire alarm at 3am without knowledgeable staff, and not very quiet. Overall, it was an average experience and not the recharging experience Marriott advertises.

This Marriott is in a great location - walking distance to most tourist sites and right at the Metro station. Staff were wonderful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We really enjoyed this hotel for a base from which to explore all the sights. All staff encountered were super friendly, especially the front desk staff. We were allowed an early check-in and a late check out with no problem. The room was very nice, with a comfortable bed and a sitting area with a couch. There was also a... More

This mariott is in a nice location in Washington dc. Walking distance to white house and other tourist spots. Had to pay for wifi, I hate this. Every so often the wifi would be redirected to hotel home page. The gym in the hotel was good. Lots of cardio machines. I hate in the hotel restuarant and the food was... More

Loud doors and loud neighbors - that is all I can remember from our first night at the Washington Marriott. I'll not blame Marriott for their guest's rude behavior waking everyone around them. I will blame Marriott for the doors. LOUD. Each opening and each slamming shut throughout the night was an abuse to worn out ears. Our own door... More

I would like to thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your visit to the Washington Marriott at Metro Center. I would like to apologize that due to the noisy guestroom doors your first night did not meet your expectations. I am happy to report that we are in the planning phases of a multimillion dollar renovation... More

The location of this hotel is perfect for sight seeing, restaurants, and business meetings. You're in the heart of DC and not too far from anything, including Regan Airport (DCA). We had a conference at the hotel and the staff was very helpful during set up and letting us know where to go. I had packages sent Fed Ex to... More
