My wife and I recently stayed here for a business conference. While the rooms were on the small side, everything was very nice. It is a block from the White House and near key Washington attractions.
One of the best locations around. Two blocks from the White House and a great property. Room overlooking 14 th street was clean and very quiet at the 11th floor. Could not have been happier.
We arrived at 7:30 AM for a course. We expected to be told that our room would not be ready for hours. To our surprise we were given a room - a beautiful room. I mentioned that it was my husband's birthday and the staff sent up a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. What a treat.

We arrived at our departing airport at 5:00am, so needless to say, we were exhausted Saturday night. At 4:15am Sunday morning we were rudely awaken by the people in the adjoining room next to...

I stayed here because my friend chose it as the hub for her Bridal Party for her wedding nearby. I like the efficiency of the place: elevators don't have buttons, because they're programmed to ask for your destination before you board, iPads adorn check-in desks to answer questions quicker than a person could, and the lobby buzzes with energy. I...

We were guests of the hotel for 11 nights while in DC for education, business, and pleasure.
We chose the JW Marriott because it was one of several hotels selected by the conference, it offered a so-called special rate to delegates, and it had few bed bug reports. We made our reservation months in advance.
I emailed the hotel a...
