The Quincy's only drawback is its slightly dull neighborhood--closer to K Street than to Dupont Circle, but it's otherwise a really first-class, comfortable hotel, with a helpful staff.
The Quincy advertises itself as a boutique hotel, which I think is the first problem because it raises the expectations for no reason. The hotel is ok, no major complains, the rooms are big, each has its own kitchen, which is convienient for longer states. Staff is nice and helpful. That being said there is nothing unique, special, about it...

While traveling across country recently, my husband and I decided to take in Washington D.C. for a couple of days. Since we did not know the area, we looked up hotels on the GPS and called for a reservation. We were traveling with our small dog and asked if the hotel was "pet friendly" the response was "yes, we are...

We had a long flight and it was so great to get to this hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful and the restaurant next door that also does The Quincy's room service was fantastic. The hotel in heart of everything and the rooms are very spacious. I will be staying there again.
After reading some of the reviews about noise and wireless problems, I was concerned. But our family had no problems at all. The rooms are large, the beds very comfortable, the staff incredibly helpful. We were in rooms 904 and 304 and except for understandable minimal street noise, we had none of the problems other reviewers spoke to. The wireless...

Stayed 5 nights at The Quincy recently. Great Place! Terrific Location! Large, Clean rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful! Super location if you are going to DC for sight seeing. Metro is real close. The Quincy Hotel will always be the place for my family and I to stay!!
LOCATION: The Quincy is remarkable for its location near Dupont Circle. Since D.C. is a walking town, being close to all the sights, food and entertainment is key. Most places too far away for walking comfortably, e.g. the Eastern Market, are an easy Metro ride away. There are 2 Metro stops within walking distance of the hotel.
ROOM: Our room,...

Great Hotel. in a good location, walking distence to almost everything.
Everything about our hotel was great. The location was perfect for all our sight seeing and Metro connections. The hotel staff where all extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms where very spacious, clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Washington DC.
I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, terrific location and very accomodating staff. By booking early we were able to get a reasonable rate considering how expensive Washington DC is. There are lots of small restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Our room was on the top floor so we didn't experience the street noise other reviewers...
