We stayed in a king suite while in D.C. for my daughter's college graduation. The room was convenient and spacious. The staff was especially nice. They responded quickly to all of my requests. Will definitely stay here again

On a trip from UK and booked this because of reviews.We were very happy! Rooms clean and spacious,staff ever so helpful and wine tasting excellent. We booked a weekend at the George, another Kimpton, and were sorely disappointed the manager, Clayton Smith, was the best. We were attending a conference at the Marriott, Wardman Park. That hotel was overbooked. I chose the Palomar because of the great reviews I read on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. The hotels front desk staff is specially nice and friendly. There are three lifts and they are little slow. We did not use the SPA so we can not rate it. The wine tasting which is free at five each day is fun and we talked to many nice hotel guest that gave us tips for our to do list.
