Located at the corner of New York and 9th, the hotel is easy walking distance to the Mall, White House and most Washington sites. Lots of restaurants nearby including a few breakfast choices. Comfortable room. My only quibble is that the lobby was very noisy when there were more than a few people at the bar.

I love the Renaissance brand, and this hotel did not disappoint here. Beautiful lobby. Some things went very well (good, fast lunch at Champions, good taxi services, good water availability in the lobby). Other aspects could be much improved: no WSJ delivery on weekends, housekeepers who barged into room, much noise from nearby rooms, hallways, housekeeping at early hours, etc.
