Only booked this Hotel as it is the closest to the convention center. The hotel is from the late 80s and the lobby is a poor-man's hyatt from the same era. What was significant was the level of attention upon check-in and how all the staff i encountered were also so lovely. The check-in counter is set up so that... More

Perfect location to visit DC. Ideal for walking around and checking out the city, to hop on the Metro, and if need be the valet service is quick regarding bringing your vehicle back down. Inside the room was extremely nice, we had gotten one of the 'romance packages' and along with my Marriott Rewards data the room was just as... More

We visited Washington, Dc and spent the entire day sightseeing. When we arrived at the hotel we were advised of the parking options. Valet overnight parking was $48.50 a night. kind of steep for a one income family. There was no pressure and I was directed to either the lot across the street at $20.00 for 12 hours or pointed... I was here for a trade show and the proximity of the hotel was the best in the area ( though they are in the process of building a Marriott Marquis across the street). The lobby area is great, beautifully decorated, perfect to do work or to socialize and when happy hour rolls around, the bar is buzzing. The rooms,... More

This is a great convention hotel for location; however the hotel is a little dated. The spa is Excellent and the food is relatively high quality. It is a little noisy, due to the doors, but only 1 block from Chinatown. The staff was very good, in general, but there were mot adequate numbers at the front dest at checkout.... More

This hotel has the best workout facilities I have ever come across in the entire world. It is a fully stocked gym with more free weights and cable set-ups than even my regular gym at home. A full array of ellipticals, treadmills, bicycles and all the cardio equipment you could possibly need -- and enough of them to go around.... More

Located in downtown DC this is a typical upscale hotel. The room was well appointed but there is no in room safe nor is there a mini-fridge. The entry drive is somewhat spartan but the lobby is very nice overall. There is a Starbucks and a small, pricey deli type establishment. There is free wifi in the lobby and it... More

I stayed here for a conference for 3 nights but I would never come back to stay on my own dime. While the employees were some of the friendliest and nicest I have come across I felt the rooms and hallways were dirty. The layer of dust on my phone disgusted me to use it for the wake-up call and... More

What always impresses me when i first enter a hotel is the number of staff that greet, offer assistance and appear to genuinely want to make your experience relaxing and pleasant. You expect the front desk staff to do this certainly but it is consistently done across all staff here. Location is perfect for the downtown sites and great restauants... More

The Internet was agonizingly slow. Even the Internet I paid for in my hotel room, not just the lobby free Internet. It made me want to cry. They also don't have in-room safes; you have to work through the front desk to get a safe deposit box. Other than that, the staff was very friendly and helpful, I was able... More
