Stayed here for business while in D.C. for a few days. The room was clean, and the hotel facilities were nice. They had a small pool on the roof and a roof top bar. The hotel is close enough to everything, and the staff were very pleasant. Definetly recommend.

This hotel is prematurely run-down. I arrived from a late flight at midnight and had get switched to four different rooms before finding one that didn't smell like cigarette smoke and/or have stains all over the carpet. The manager was extremely apologetic.

This property had just opened as a Kimpton when we stayed. Even so, the "new property" problems we experienced were minor and immediately corrected. We were on the third floor. Was recently at the Donovan for 5 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant was good. I found they tried to make this hotel hip/modern but it fell short. The room was a bit tired - carpeting was coming up in a few spots, the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling/cracked. The shower was a bit odd.... More
