Very personally run budget accommodation in Aspen. I'd return in a heart-beat. The room was spare, but clean. Yes, more than a bit out-dated - but no matter. Very practical. They were not full due to the unusually warm weather and so they up-graded me without any request on my part. Good small pool and steam room which was clean... More

I agree with the review by Photog4funn: expensive for a hostel if you're used to traveling abroad, but a great value for Aspen. We had a private, en suite room for two adults and a child. The beds are short and the room is small but all is comfortable. The lobby has lots of comfortable places to sit, relax, read... More

A group of three friends on a motorcycle tour, we found St Moritz on the Internet and called the same day we needed a place. The young lady I spoke with was extremely nice and helpful, and reserved a private dorm room with four bunks and shared bathroom. The hotel is old but clean, the room was small but adequate... More

The St. Moritz Lodge also has some hostel beds. It's a bit expensive as far as hostels (shared room with other hostellers) are concerned, but you won't find such inexpensive accomodations in this resort town so it's a bargain. It is located in a quiet area about 5 blocks from the main village. It's clean, comfortable, friendly with a nice... More

I decided at the last second to do the Pearl Pass bicycle tour and needed to know a place I could stay in Aspen if I could make it. I called the day before and they said they had rooms and worst case scenario, me and my friend could stay in a hostel room. We weren't sure if we were... More

Stayed in the two bedroom condo. Upstairs, two rooms, one bathroom (sink, toilet, shower all separate), living room and kitchen. Two small terraces. Front desk guy was super helpful. A bear had been in the vestibule of our stairs the week before so we were warned not to leave the door ajar. No a/c, ceiling fans, nice flat screen tvs... More

Its cheap but you risk sharing a hostel like room, yet everyone is friendly and it has a decent atmosphere. The staff is great and the internet is free. I stay here often when I am on business trips. Plus it is right near the center of Aspen - so you can walk in to town for dinner and drinks.

This is such a great place, just a couple of blocks away from the center - nice and quiet. The rooms are very chic with a retro feel to them. We didn't experience noise from other rooms as others has said here, so I guess we were lucky (and it was fully booked). It' s one of the nicer priced... More

In Aspen, the premium is on staying in a quiet area, not on main street. The St. Moritz fits that billing perfectly. It's quiet. It makes a big difference to be two blocks away from main street. And the swimming in the about 25 ft pool with a nice temperature was a great start into each day. Staff is engaged... More

Manlydave I stayed in a room with shared bathroom as I was traveling alone and wanted somewhere not too expensive. The room had two beds - but just me - the room was fine although a little warm till turned heating down. Breakfast was great, porridge, ceral, fruit, toast, cakes, hard boiled eggs etc - although it is plastic plates... More
