The inn was quiet and peaceful. Price was good. Only thing that might have been nice would have been a tv. But overall pleasurable. Clean, good size rooms.

This was the first time we have ever even considered an inn style place over a hotel. I was very skeptical on staying in a bed and breakfast because I didnt want to feel like we were in the way or even being there would make us feel uncomfortable. Thankfully, this was non of the above. The inn holds 4...

We stayed 2 nights and loved the relaxing atmosphere. The baked goods are a nice addition and there were some interesting (if dated) magazines to read, Sandy is very candid about what is happening to establishments like hers. Sad that places like this are disappearing. Short walk to downtown, museums, historical sites. Owner also gave us good recommendations on where...

Stay away. Our bed was terrible. Our room was dusty and was not cleaned. I do not know how this owner has a business license to run this place. I stayed here and tried to move after I saw our room, but there was a 2 night minimum for the weekend. I booked this because of the low price compared...

We recently spent a long weekend in Apalachicola and had the pleasure of staying at the Witherspoon. Sandy is knowledgeable and thoughtful, and I can't imagine enjoying a trip more. The upstairs balcony was fantastic.

We just spent our spring break at the Whitherspoon Inn and we had a great time! It makes you feel at home! The place is incredibly clean and cozy and the fresh baked bread for breakfast is divine. The rooms are very spacious and some even have an extra area with a couch. You also have access to a balcony...

My wife and I have stayed here many times over the years and Sandy has always been a great host - very friendly and full of good information. We've stayed in most of the rooms and they are nicely appointed - when the weather is good, the upstairs units with the balcony are particularly good.
My husband and I have stayed at the Witherspoon several times. Sandy is helpful, but leaves us alone. We always stay upstairs and enjoy Happy Hour and Morning coffee on the porch. Although she doesn't do a full breakfast, we love the goodies she leaves in the evening and in the morning. We have come with friends and have met...

The place is dirty, dirty,-- needs to be pressure washed inside and out- overpriced at $100.00- Full breakfast consists of heated up pecans rolls- What a mistake staying here.
