Everyone at ak'bol were friendly, helpful, laid back, like a little community. Trips were very organised and quick and easy to arrange. Ate here several times during our stay on Ambergris Caye. Delicious every time! Very casual, located right on the beach. Local cuisine was excellent. Very friendly service. And Maya, the resident schnoodle, is adorable!

Enjoyed a week stay in a sea view cabana. Amazing sunrises and views throughout the day. Cabana is cute, with a very comfortable bed (firm mattress). Enjoyed breakfast and lunch there! Fish tacos, fried chicken.....all perfect and obviously from scratch. Perfct open air setting. The barman was excellent, very friendly man, who we enjoyed talking with. one of my favorite spots on the island for a great meal.

If you are up north and looking for a breakfast place , this is a place to try. Sit and eat on the beach for great views. We went here because the resort we were staying food pricing was too high. Go earlier enough you can do some yoga.

My daughter & I spent 5 days here. Loved the daily yoga & food was fresh and superb at the restaurant. All staff was friendly.
