The resort was not "up to par", disrepair...in need of maintenance..and expensive as all get out!! Their excursions were a complete joke -- way over priced and over promised. Had the most amazing experience first time fishing in Belize. Caught a Spanish snapper which the restaurant cooked three ways at no additional charge. Our tour guide Carlos was fantastic. After our second day on Ambergris Caye, we decided that we liked the restaurant at Captain Morgan's better than the one at our hotel, Belizean Shores. We ended up eating four meals there.
