This truly was a great experience. The setting is lovely, the trips are fabulous, the staff is great at all levels and Ian is a very personable owner/host. Our usual style of travel usually involves camping or hostels, so we splurged during this part of our vacation and got a canopy treehouse. While the climb may be daunting after a... More

I just got back from belize. We did the 3 night package at Ian Anderson's - and I can't say enough. I've written other reviews, and i'm not one to go on an on, but this place was just fabulous. We stayed in a canopy treehouse. Incredible! So nice, and clean, and luxourious (and no bugs!). I would put it... More

Stayed in March 2011. Stayed for 2 nights and did the waterfall and cave tubing activities which were awesome. Guides were nice and it was a great balance of adventure and safety. They could've done a better job at explaining the activities in more breadth and what's required physically as some of the guests got more than they bargained for.... More

We stayed at this Caves Branch lodge in January 2012. Although an amazing time, We had several mishaps. It has taken me this long to write this review because I was torn because it was that amazing! First we were forgotten at the airport. The lodge was wonderful, the staff superb, and the guides top notch. The travel company "arranged"... More

We visited for five nights in June 2011 and are still talking about this trip! We loved every aspect of our stay at Caves Branch. Our only regret was not staying longer! The lodge was in a beautiful jungle setting. The pool was a nice retreat after the adventures. Our tree house was so luxurious! We loved falling asleep to... More

I didn't really know what to expect - I picked this place solely on the strength of its website and positive Trip Advisor reviews. None of that did it justice. Gorgeous setting, great food, top rate accommodations (at least in the treehouses - I didn't check out the other rooms) and incredible activity offerings. They set everything up, so you... More

We really enjoyed our stay in March . . . so many fun and exciting things to do, we want to go back when we have more time to do more! Loved the accommodations, food and pool. Bring bug spray, a flashlight, long pants and some good gripping sneakers for all excursions as they will not allow you to go... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights in a canopy veiw treehouse with all the amentites from home. We had electricty as well as an outlet to charge cameras and a safe. There was also an outdoor shower and tub on our private balcony. It was 75 steps which didn't seem like much until we got back from our excursions.... More

Let me begin by saying that this is not the place for you if you are a professional rock-climber, explorer, speleologist or naturalist in search of never-before-seen frontiers. While Ian Anderson's Caves Branch bills itself as an adventure company and does offer adventure tours, do not expect to come back with photos of where you planted your flag for the... More

We spent four nights at Caves Branch with our 16 year old son, 13 year old and 8 year old daughters at the end of March. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and wonderfully maintained. The variety of flowers with the backdrop of the jungle and the river are truly special We stayed in a Jungle Treehouse (No. 21) and highly... More
