Rooms were small but AC worked great. Water pressure, like the rest of the country was an issue. Service was great
I was in Corozal for an extended vacation and rented a 1 bedroom appartment here for 3 months. The room had everything I needed including a small kitchen with a cook top and small fridge. The price was very reasonable and included free Wi-Fi and cable TV. Rosita and all the staff treated me very well and were always available...

We stayed for 1 night while heading between Cancun and Punta Gorda. The room was adequate for the price however we did not get any hot water the evening we arrived or in the morning. Maybe if we had let the water run longer it would have warmed up but we didn't try it long enough. The room was clean...

the price is right. right across the street from the ocean. good breeze. rooms were very clean. it has the charm of the 40's. well secured. WIFI works out on two terraces. Coffee was brought to my room in the morning on a tray covered with a lovely woven towel. we had breakfast in the dining area open to the...

charming rooms with character, and although some might say out-dated, I liked them. Very clean and well maintained. Lovely view of the sea. The internet connection is available from the terrace and downstairs area but not in rooms. Water pressure sometimes low when showering. It is just outside the center of town, which can be walked in about 10-15 minutes
This was our favourite hotel, in terms of value and comfort.
The room was beautiful, white sheets, white curtains, and interesting old design. Nice bathroom and shower. Balcony outside our room was great. The hotel was really old, but had a lot of character and warmth. Because it was right on the ocean, sleeping without A/C was very comfortable.

I was there a few days ago, thanks to other tripadvisor reviews, but I now feel driven to write (for the first time ever) on this website and in very negative terms.
I asked them do some laundry which wasn't cheap at 20 Belizean dollars. They "forgot" to return a treasured Beijing Olympics T-shirt, which I did indeed buy in...

Having chosen Hotel Maya as our base camp for our travels to the Corozal district of Belize, I have to say I'm really glad I did so. Whilst there's a number of other hotels to choose from this one seems the most established and reputable and the owner and receptionist were both really helpful and easy to talk to. They...

Nice small hotel next to main road entering the town. Room was fairly big, clean, and modern, I had a common terrace with sea view that felt like it was my own as there were no other guests in the hotel - US$30.
We'd had a bit of a mental journey by the time we got to Corozal and when we got there (bit of a different vibe from Mexico where we'd just come from) we were a bit freaked out.
but then we got to Maya and the owner was so kind to us - it was the day after new years...
