The Bluefield Lodge is not fancy but it is clean and safe. The rooms are small but they are clean and comfortable and have tv. The rooms are locked only with a skeleton key but the hotel is very safe as the main door is kept locked. Guests are provided with a key. I didn't see any hotel in town... More

No, this isn't the most plush or attractive accommodation - but then for the price, and considering you are in Dangriga, this is the best value for money, and priceless when you throw in the local knowledge, attention and service received by Miss Louise, the owner. Well.... This place ain't bad for $25 a night but I agree with previous post, it is very basic. The room we got was very small, but it had everything - bed, fan, TV, private bathroom (which was really clean). We probably wouldn't stay there next time but I do recommend it door budget travelers.

We stayed at the Bluefield over Christmas and were not expecting anything of international standards.
