Safe and comfortable in the more secure portion of Guatemala City, and with relatively inexpensive taxis at hand rather than having to try the trams. Excellent hotel and in a safe area near restaurants and commercial area. Guatemala city can be a bit unsafe but this area was very good. Business type of hotel but very good value. Travelled during January 2011 but trip advisor doesn't go that far in time.
