Perfexct place to stay. Just out of the busy part of town but walking distance (a whole 2 blocks). Large rooms, large common area and nice outdoor space. Provides lockers with locks for valuables and a security guard at night. Newer looking and a great facility. Bring soap for hand washing, the only down side.

Quiet location. A short stroll to the center down a newly paved beehive stone street. The bed was a little dusty. Advertised wifi, but did not work.

The Iguana Azul is clean, quiet, well-maintained, with good management, and amenities. It is an ideal hostal for those looking for a place away from the nightlife of Copan without spending a lot. Highly recommended!

We spent our Christmas holidays here and it was great. The hostel was really well maintained. Location was just off the busy streets. The host was friendly.

We landed at Iguana Azul for a few days while visiting Copan Ruinas. It was clean, accessible, easy. Lots of interesting people staying there.

Never ever again! We got kicked out of our room because they took a reservation from other guys without telling us. They were just money orientated and very patronizing.. Rooms clean, but small. We stayed here for two nights - quaint little hostel, well located near the centre. About 20 mins walk from the ruins. Really clean, spacious rooms with hot showers on offer. No kitchen and small chill-out area with little book exchange on offer. Loads of information available on Copan and other destinations. Staff really friendly, rates were reasonable.
