“Tough when there isn't power”

Our view of this hotel is probably clouded by the fact that there was not power for some of the time we were there. The site is a bit out of the way, most of the hotels are downtown, the Madrugada is not. The location is down by a creek, which was in itself, charming. But the lack of water... More

“Simple, clean, friendly, cute little hotel”

The Madrugada is is a nice little place - we liked it a lot. Its very simple - if you are looking for a full service US/European hotel you will be disappointed. But if you want an inexpensive, clean place with a little style you will be very happy. Its probably in between a nice hostel and a low end... More
