Was there for a conference and it was surprisingly ok for the price. Restaurant was nothing flash and there is a strange sports bar on the lobby level but generally the staff were nice. Internet wifi was variable on the 10 th floor but fine elsewhere. The staff in the club lounge were lovely and a solid but simple breakfast... More

The Marriott in Tegucigalpa, Honduras is not up to the standards for International Business. As a long time Marriott member and occasional customer, I try to make a point of staying at Marriotts when possible. However, in Tegucigalpa, I have found my stay less than optimal. The rooms are great however (with one minor exception if you happen to stay... More

We recently organized a workshop at this hotel for about 30 people for a full week. The staff was very professional and all services delivered as promised - rooms, food, meeting rooms, etc. The room rates were pretty good, we probably ordered too much food between lunches and breaks, the portions are very generous and the breakfast is really great.... I've stayed in this hotel four times over the past few months. The service has been great. Each time I've stayed on the executive level. The lounge is great, as is the sports bar down stairs. One thing to note is the lounge is close weekends and the sports bar in the lobby gets pretty loud Friday and Saturdays.

I stayed here because the Intercontinental was full. This is just a couple blocks away from that hotel and the Multiplaza Mall. It is a short walk past the Presidential residence to the mall. This is relatively safe during the day but you might want to take a taxi if at night or carrying packages. The rooms are quite nice... More

I paid $198 incl internet and Excecutive Lounge access. Rooms are roomy but decor and furniture is a little dated. Restaurant is decent but prices are high. Staff is helpful and very nice

The Tegucigalpa Marriot is a very nice hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, with an awesome bed and extra furniture. The bathroom is new with granite countertops. Its main competitor, down the street, has a slightly better restaurant and bar, and is closer to the mall, but the Marriot has a better breakfast buffet and a much better coffee shop,... More

We stayed at Tegucigalpa Marriott from 11.22.2011 - 11.29.2011 and our experience was excellent. Rooms are big and comfortable. There are all necessary amenities including pool, gym and spa. We travel a lot and we found this hotel to have excellent location (next door to the presidential palace) and within a walking distance to several restaurants and a shopping center.... More

Well first of all, dont go to Tegu if you dont have to. there is absolutely nothing to do and see and plus it is dangerous. as for the hotel, nice room, great breakfast. what you would expect from a 5 star but the reception are is extremely annoying and frustrating after 6pm. there is a bar/restaurant at this area...
