Stayed here for 4 nights for the CCSA swim championships. Great service, very friendly staff and breakfast was always replenished even after many many hungry swimmers in the morning. Rooms were excellent.

It might not be in downtown Athens, but it's close enough. Sits right off the loop, interstate, close to everything. The staff is wonderful. Each person we met acted like we were their only guest. They couldn't do enough for us. Restaurant advice, directions, whatever. They have an excellent breakfast each morning and wireless internet in the room all complimentary.... More

we stayed here recently, the rooms were nice and clean and new, and was a great help for us relocating our stay from a trashy ashford manor bed and breakfast nearby that was a failure. definately would stay here again!

As others have said, the Springhill Suites is on the outskirts of Athens--expect a 15-minute drive into downtown (longer if traffic is horrendous, which is so often is).
