I have stayed at this DI once a year for several years (for Athens Twilight festival when the whole town is booked) and have consistently been satisfied and think it's an exceptional value. Number 1 for me is cleanliness and quietness and I have never had a problem. The worst I have encountered is a couple of stray hairs and... More

for 2, max. 3 days it is possible to stand it (if you just sleep there and spend most of the day somewhere else) but not more. room smelled mustily, employees were friendly but not really helpful, room service was coming in different time (one day at 8am, second day at 2pm), trash bins were not replaced, light in bathroom... The first thing I figured out was why they make you pay in advance. When you pull up to the motel and think 'Awww, Heck No!', they've already got your money. The room was smelly and musty, definitely need to be remodeled. Dead cockroach on the bathroom floor and the maid was coming out as we were going in, so... More

Bad experience started in the lobby where it took 20 minutes to check in the three people ahead of us. We were then given a room key for a room that had not yet been cleaned. While we were waiting to get a new room, I overheard one of the guys behind the desk saying to another employee, "What do... More

This hotel was reasonably priced, and you get what you pay for. We stopped for a quick sleep after a long drive travelling from Canada to Florida. Did not use the shower as it was old. The room smelled like a bottle of Febreze had been poured over everything. The beds however, were comfortable with clean sheets and nice pillows.... More

Came to Athens for a wedding and wanted to find an expensive place to stay near downtown. Basically, you get what you pay for. The room smelled very bad, like a wet dog. The bathroom was pretty clean but the toilet looked like it belonged in a bar and it leaked. If you're looking for a place to crash after... More

We stayed here while our 8 year old son was at football camp at UGA. We needed something affordable because this was not a planned vacation. We just wanted to be close by since this was his first time away from home. I took my daughter and a friend and we were going to have girls week hanging out by... More

Definitely skip this place. Bed lights didn't work when we checked in and had to crawl around to find out it was unplugged. Later found out probably why. The plug in the sink area didn't work. Someone probably used this plug for hair dryer or curling iron. No hot water in the sink. Sheets wouldn't stay on the bed because... More

This is undoubtedly one of the worst hotels stays I have ever experienced, and thought it would meet certain standards since it was a Days Inn. Starting from the unprofessional front desk personal - they looked more like they should be tending the family farm then greeting guests at a hotel. The wallpaper on the walls was peeling everywhere and... More

This is a very good & cheap hotel. The room was very nice, the breakfast surprisingly good, and the exceptionally friendly staff went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one.
