Next to Motel 6, about the least expensive in the area; however, this motel offers so much more... Very clean, comfortable and quiet, with lots of furniture, mirrors, clean carpeting, and super comfortable mattress, pillows, bed linens, and towels... Well maintained and room service won't be knocking on your door at 10:00am if you want to sleep-in.... In-room coffee maker,... More

Stayed 7 nights and was offered weekly rate. Staff was friendly and helpful. Older motel so room was larger than other motels in the area. Microwave and fridge in the room. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Only motel in the area that offered king size bed. Room was quiet, no noise from adjoining rooms or from above. Will... More

I am surprised by some of the bad reviews bc this place was great for the price. The two queens roomwe had was very big. We asked for a fridge and they brought it in first day. Also allows pets which is awesome. The beds were comfy, clean and the carpets were really nice. Wish they served breakfast but they... More

I had the misfortune of staying at this motel for 1 night although I had booked for three. I booked through a travel site and was mislead to believe it was a 3 star hotel based on that sites rating. When I drove up I found that it was no more than a 1 star motel. There are a few... More

Got this hotel for my husband to stay in through Priceline.com. Booked it for 20 days, but when he got there they only did 10 days which is fine. They said that our card 'WAS NOT" going to get charged till the end of his stay. Well that is false, they took our money within 3 days of his stay!... More

This was the worste hotel room we have ever stayed in, when we pulled up the place looked like a dump we should've turned around at that every min I went with the upgrade thinking I would get a fairly clean and new room and was dissapointed on many levels. The only reason we didnt leave that evening was because... More

For a non-smoking motel the halls and room were saturated with stale smoke. When entering the room the first thing I noticed was the TV remote on the floor and the ironing board next to the bed. I pulled the comforter and blankets back to find wrinkled sheets. The fitted sheet was snug on the top of the mattress, but... More

The Aurora Fox Valley Inn accommodates both smoking and non-smoking guests. The hotel does provide a complete smoke free environment in all common areas in agreement with Illinois Law. We do provide individual smoking rooms where guests are allowed to smoke in their room. In regards to the bathroom condition, it deviates from the housekeeping policy in maintaining our guest... We stayed one night in this hotel with our two daughters, ages 6 and 12. Based on the reviews of other people on this site it seemed like a reasonable deal. The room reeked of B.O. and the blanket on one of the beds was noticeably filthy with god-knows-what smeared on it. My skin crawled just lying between the sheets.... More

In June 2010, the hotel had 2 separate sales groups totaling 40 rooms that were sent by travel agents for a 6 weeks stay. Unfortunately, the groups were loud and boisterous. The hotel requested them to be quieter as they were disturbing other guests. However, the groups did not comply with the hotels request and were therefore evicted (after 2... More

In a word, dated. If you are on a budget, need a quick place to get a good nights sleep, and are not looking for any extras, this is your spot. This building is showing its age more than a bit, but is servicable for a good nights sleep. Quiet and esay to the interstate. No breakfast, and the fixtures... More
