This small riad in a quite street in the heart of the medina of fez is simply beautifull, clean and really really cheap. The staff is very nice and helpfull. You really want to stay here while in fez. 300 dirham for a double room with shared bathroom, but you will share it with jus 2 other room.

We had a great 4 days in Fez based at Dar Bouanania. The hostel was beautiful and very atmospheric and we appreciated really feeling like we were in Morocco! This hotel was very comfrotable and they were able to give us a room for four people for a reasonable price. As others have mentioned, the bathrooms are pretty stinky but otherwise the rooms were clean and comfortable. No rooftop pool or rooftop dining area, but it was comfortable and a good value with an excellent location and nice staff.
