A delightful and restful break in beautiful surroundings. We had the large double room and it was magnificent. The views from the roof over the city and beyond are fantastic and its a lovely place to relax and watch birds circling in the evenings. The hospitality is warm and helpful. Thank you, we will come again.

Dar Drissi was a beautiful and comfortable riad. It really surprised us when we got there. I guess we expected a fairly austere riad like many of our others we had been to, but we were very pleased when we got there. It's over 300 years old, very elegant and beautiful. Much of it is original (restored). Modern, western facilities,... More

We had a lovely 4 day stay in Dar Drissi . The manager could not do enough to help you and was very happy to arrange visits and transfers. House restored to it original beauty and the roof terrace a bonus. Will visit again very soon

We arrived on the train from Tangier and were met by a driver and taken to meet the manager Kibir at the nearest place vehicles can get to the Dar. It's about a 10 minute walk to Dar Drissi, the final stretch through what appears to be an impossibly narrow passage! But then you pass through the small front door... More

Dar Drissi is situated in the heart of the medina. Inside it is a haven of tranquility. The house is magnificent. I especially enjoyed the roof area with its views over the Atlas mountains. The manager is called Kibir. He arranged all our visits and transfers. We were made very welcome. One of the kitchens in the house is for... More

We arrived in Fez around midnight, after taking a train from Casablanca after an overseas flight the night BEFORE!. We were very tired and worried about how to get to our place. A man on our train let me borrow his cellphone to call Kibir and let him know what train we had taken from Casablanca. I didn't know what... More

We were fortunate to have the riad to ourselves for 4 nights so felt very spoilt. It's been beautifully restored in blue and white tiles with lots of cedar, which gives off a natural scent, and the retention of some old coloured tiling, where possible - very calming to return to after the noise, colour and unique smell of the... Dar Drissi is a really nice place to stay Fez. You can experience the traditional maroccan lifestyle. The breakfast includes fresh orange juice with maroccan style bread. The location is in the middle of the medina, 10 minutes from the Bab Bou Jeloud. The rooftop terrace is perfect for relaxing and you get a nice view. Kibir, the manager, is... More

Dar Drissi is very comfortable and Kibir was great. He answered all our questions, helped us set up dinners and taxis and made our stay very comfortable. Four of us stayed in the Grand Salon, which is is beautiful and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. There were always oranges out for guests to have a snack and they... More
