Stayed here two nights last year part of The Global Scavenger Hunt travel adventure...a great place in the center of the old city and near the famed souk...a walk left, a walk right and you are there!. The grounds are stunning and the restaurant is fabulous...the staff is warm and helpful!

The overall decor of hotel and rooms is superb; our room had a balcony overlooking pool and medina and was large and comfortable. Only complaint with room was excessive bird droppings on balcony. Our room on the 4th floor had a balcony from which we had a stunning view of the medina. We slept well (good matress) the two nights we were there despite the more than 360 mosques in the city and enjoyed the visit to the medina. A very comfortable hotel which is well-located on the edge of the Medina. Could not fault it. Even the standard rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. Given the number of guests (and many tour groups) the service was excellent. The in-house restaurant serving Morrocan food was surprisingly good.

Had a great experience at the Palais Jamai. Great and convenient location inside the medina (just be on the lookout for "fake guides" waiting for tourists right outside the hotel - they will follow you and harass you for hours as you make for the medina!) , great service, and nice rooms.
