Dar Rbab was the perfect place for a long weekend away. Mark and Ghizlane were amazing hosts, and Mohammad helped us find our way around and introduced us to Fes. The food was incredible, the rooms were beautiful and very comfortable, and everyone was so friendly and made us feel so much at home. It was situated right in the... More

We stayed at Dar Rbab for 2 days before going to a wedding in Fes and it was such a great place to find under any circumstances but particularly these. Ghizlane took me under her wing and arranged a session trying on traditional kaftans for the wedding and explaining the etiquette etc. It was great fun and really helpful...and that... More

Mark and his wife, Ghizlane, were excellent hosts. We had nice conversations and they were even kind enough to invite me to a superb dinner on the first evening of Ramadan. Not only was the food delicious but it was also an interesting cultural experience. The staff of the riad were super nice and polite. They recommended me a guide... More

I came to stay here with a friend for a weekend in January. We had a wonderful time, Mark S'Mohamed was friendly and accommodating, and to find a warm, comfortable bed was such a treat! We were given brilliant advice about Fes, and felt in very safe hands. In need of some home comforts, we were very happy here, and... More

It was the first time for us in Fes and my husband and I stayed in Dar Rbab. It's a beautiful raid with a restaurant on the ground level and bedrooms overlooking the courtyard on the second floor. It's very quaint with beautiful hand painted doors and every morning, the cook prepared us a wonderful breakfast to start our day.... More

Mark's riad is the perfect place if you want to fully immerse yourself into the sights, sounds, and tastes of Morocco. Located right in the heart of the biggest medina in Fez, it is a well kept family home filled with charm, color, and personality. Mark and his family are wonderful people to get to know, and he is more... More

We were in Dar Rbab last February and Mohammed and Mark make us feel like at home. Their breakfast is amazing, with orange juice, bread, eggs...and they cooked a very very good dinner for us, the tipical Tajine. They resolt us all the questions about how was the best choice to move around the medina, and offer us people who... More

Two of us had a lovely stay with Mark and his family at Dar Rbab back in August 2011. Beautiful place, very friendly staff (especially Mohammed who showed us around Fez) and delicious food. Perfect package for a stay in Fez.

Hands down the best breakfast we had in 3 weeks in Morocco! The cumin-dusted hard-boiled eggs and semolina toast are amazing! The Riad, while rather difficult to find in the darkness of the medina, was handily located (once you got your directional bearings). The room was spacious and the bathroom, was large and had great black walls. The finish on... More
