My husband and I stayed 4 nights at this Riad in the Medina (a holiday organised by AA Driveway). The accommodation was quiet, clean and spacious and included a 4 poster bed, shower (hand held), sink area with plenty of space to put your necessaries, good space for clothes too. We stayed on the 3rd floor and although the prayer... More

This Riad has had fairly mixed reviews recently, some glowing, others highlighting deficiencies/problems. This was part of an AA Getaways break, for four nights. First the positive aspects. It has plenty of character as it was formerly a palatial dwelling. Typical Moroccan decor in all areas, including the rooms, which were clean. A good location (approximately fifteen to twenty minutes... More

I stayed at this Riad for 4 nights with my daughter. It was part of a package booked through the Guardian newspaper. It is a beautiful, traditional building in the Medina, 15 minutes walk from the main square. This was good because there were few tourists so we weren't hassled. All the local people were lovely and when they offered... More

This was part of our stay booked through AA in Britain. Our Riad in Essaouira was amazing but alas this did not live up to that standard. It's a lovely building and they give you heaters in the rooms as it gets cold at night but there's no bath and we were woken up every morning by both the call... More

Our room was on the ground floor and was clean but very basic. The bed was two singles pushed together so their was no way you could get into bed form the side. he bathroom was very basic and the shower head had no wall fixing so you had to hold it in your hand. The only positive point we... More

the 1st to make is how to find the hotel. Not easy at all !!! It was quite a bit of a mission, but we did found it. The person which welcomed us did seem quite surprise, but after showing the confirmation went ok. Breakfast, interesting, they did bring different speciality everyday but as well, some baguette instead of morrocan... More

We (my husband and I and our friends) stayed here for three nights and had a great time. The rooms were spacious, well presented and clean. I had no trouble sleeping despite the 4.30am call to prayer, it was quieter than I expected and much louder in other parts of th medina! Breakfast varied daily but was a generally and... More

This riad made our trip to Marrakech. The welcome in the courtyard with its trees and fountain set the tone for the whole stay. The stylish and traditional architecture was quite extraordinary. The staff could not have been more attentive. The location means that you have to walk through the old city which was an experience in itself. The only... More

We stayed at this riad in November 2010 during our 9 day trip to Morocco. Riad is about 10 minute walk away from the main square and once you do the walk once, it is easy to go back and forth. We stayed in 3 different rooms and liked all of them. Rooms were clean, spacious and well taken care... More
