This riad made our trip to Marrakech. The welcome in the courtyard with its trees and fountain set the tone for the whole stay. The stylish and traditional architecture was quite extraordinary. The staff could not have been more attentive. The location means that you have to walk through the old city which was an experience in itself. The only... More

We stayed at this riad in November 2010 during our 9 day trip to Morocco. Riad is about 10 minute walk away from the main square and once you do the walk once, it is easy to go back and forth. We stayed in 3 different rooms and liked all of them. Rooms were clean, spacious and well taken care... More

A lovely place. A female friend and I spent five nights there and the wonderful, friendly staff could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Paricularly enjoyed eating breakfast under the shade of orange and lemon trees listening to the sounds of the birds and the fountain. We particularly enjoyed the Moroccan potato scones. The dinners were... More

This was a real find. When we got picked up at the airport it was just as well because we would never have found it by ourselves. We asked or somewhere that was traditional and we certainly were not disappointed. The Riad was lovely and the staff were great. We did ask or a twin room as we were 2... More

I went with a girl friend and we stayed for 4 nights at the end of june in the 40-50 degree heat. The location of the Riad we thought was great, a 15 min walk from the main square. However after the first 5 mins of walking you are out of the main tourist drag and seeing the real Moroccan... More

Riad Sidi Ayoub was a great find and I'd definately reccommend it and I'm so pleased to have chosen it. We were 2 female travellers and when we first arrived I was a bit wary that it is in the medina down a warren of little streets but we soon realised that it you not a few landmarks and be... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed this property. It was everything we imagined a Moroccan riad would be - the decor and rooms were great. the staff are very friendly, provided good city and direction information and the service was great. We ate dinner one night in the riad - it was probably the best meal we... More

We were a party of nine (four adults, five children aged three to sixteen) and stayed here for just one night on our way back home at the end of our holiday. I would definitely recommend it. The owners were kind and helpful. They met us off the main road with a trolley for our luggage and welcomed us to... More

We were well looked after. The food was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. The suite was spacious. The calmness and tranquility was a great escape from the madness that is Marrakech!

The Riad is located at the east side of the Medina and is approached through a series of narrow (some unlit) lanes. Be aware of small children who will follow you to the Riad and ask for money for supposedly finding the Riad for you. Would also be aware of people in the streets and stallholders in the souks offering... More
