This is a standout hotel for us. What makes this hotel different? It’s the staff from the management to the cleaning to the bar staff, the waiting staff, and the girls in the spa, every single member of this team go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and as happy as possible It’s in a great location with just a short stroll to the Medina. We took a horse and carriage ride which lasted one hour and 20 minutes for just 200 DHM. The hotel is clean. The food is plentiful and flavoursome. With the bonus of a heated pool in the winter. I do, however, want to mention a couple of staff in particular. Firstly, Adil, who is the manager of the restaurants and the bars. Adil leads, and motivates his team and isn’t afraid to roll his sleeves up mucking in with the rest of the team. And I have to mention the fabulous head chef Siad, again, leading and motivating his team, and can often be seen making the pancakes himself in the morning. The management team know how to motivate the rest of the team and often gets missed out reviews. So thank you one and all for a wonderful wonderful holiday and I hope we have the pleasure of coming back to you again.

From the moment you enter this hotel you know you’re in for a great stay. Check in was brilliant. Rather than queuing for ages as you would in most hotels we were ushered through into the piano bar and were presented with a delicious Moroccan mint tea. We were able to relax and sit in comfort while the Tui rep went through everything we needed to know. We then went straight for lunch in the restaurant and our cases magically appeared in our room straight away afterwards Lunch. Oh my goodness. The food! I’ve been to many All inclusive hotels and most of them Tui ones but never have I had such great quality food. It was perfection. I didn’t come across a single thing that was undercooked/overcooked/ cold. Everything was excellent. There’s so much choice. Even the fussiest eater will find something. And the desserts- hats off to the pastry chefs. They were outstanding. We were only at the hotel for 4 nights so we didn’t venture to the snack bar but it looked good. If we were there longer we would have paid a visit. We ate one night at the Cullinarium restaurant and this too was outstanding. The hotel is lovely. The grounds and gardens are gorgeous and beautifully maintained. Our room was spotlessly clean. Every staff member was great and nothing was too much trouble. Overall a wonderful few days away. Cannot fault the Medina Gardens hotel.

This is a great hotel. Close to the souks, mosque and main square. The food was some of the best we have had in hotels and the staff were lovely. Also, the drinks were nice especially the cocktails as we've been to other hotels where they are horribly sweet . It was also clean and the gardens were lovely and well kept. We loved going to see the tortoises especially the babies. We were slightly disappointed in the entertainment but that wasn't the hotel's fault. This was because it was generally held outside, and the weather was cold in the evenings. When they held it inside it was well attended and lively. We attended a couple of exercise classes and these were good. The young entertainment staff were keen and friendly. We went on 3 excursions - the morning history tour (whistle stop and the guide seemed more interested in getting you to go in the afternoon when he went round the souks), the balloon ride which my husband really enjoyed and the horse and carriage ride on our last night which showed us areas of Marrakech that we hadn't visited. Our only negative was our room (1025). We didn't have a view of anything as it had a patio rather than a balcony which was never cleaned so if we went out, we brought dirt back in! It was also quite noisy and I assume this was because the cleaning trolleys were stored somewhere near (maybe above?) and we could hear them rolling about or maybe other guests rolling suitcases? Overall, this is a good hotel to base yourself for a visit to Marrakech with the luxury of good food and nice surroundings.

We had read many reviews on this fabulous hotel, and have to say all reviews were spot on, from the time you arrive to departure, the staff are so welcoming and helpful, they really do make your stay a truly magical experience, from our lovely lady we had for housekeeping Soumia from requesting soft pillow to mattress topper, she is amazing and always so cheerful, all the staff we encountered and engaged with are such lovely people and work so hard, not forgetting Omar from the pool bar, really miss him, the whole hotel is spotless, the food was fabulous such an array of dishes to choose from each meal time, the presentation was outstanding, you wanted to try them all.. most of the entertainment was excellent, some it’s just personal choice, as they offer a variety of activities during the day, the heated outdoor pool is lovely but does get busy, we didn’t use the other pool as was really chilly this time of year, but can imagine in warmer weather would be great, my husband a I preferred to relax in one of the many garden areas which has lovely trees for some shade, the location is perfect as there are so many things and trips to do, and you are only a short walk to the souks, and main square which come alive in the evening, brilliant to experience, cannot wait to return to this fabulous hotel.

Amazing service from all the staff, always smiling! Fabulous hotel that has been improved over the last couple of years! Was superb previously but even more so now! Food excellent especially the snack bar at lunch time! Preferred that to the buffet which again was excellent! Will most certainly be returning! Check out the tortoise garden at the back of the hotel by the gym! Only criticism was not enough seating at night time but this was before the warm nights so maybe different! The bar staff in the day especially Mustaffa excellent! Have a wander to the souk just keep your wits about you but a thoroughly enjoyable experience day and night! The spa at the hotel was a great treat and I would recommend the full massage!

We wanted to escape the winter of the UK for some quality sunshine in late February into early March. We've already done the usual short haul locations like The Canaries, Balearics, Portugal etc and enjoyed them but we wanted to broaden our horizons and decided on Morocco and Marrakech. On browsing the options Medina Gardens stood out to us straight away but we reviewed an awful lot of hotels before settling back on our 1st choice. Booked it and excitedly counted down the days... Ok, purely a hotel review as that's why you're reading this... Medina Gardens is pretty much right in the heart of the city. Yes, there is some traffic noise but considering the location it is to be expected and it never bothered us. We spent all of our lounge time by the heated pool (beautifully clean and a wonderful temperature) as the main pool was, quite frankly, freezing! The heated pool is also the quiet area so there's no piped music or activities around it, perfect for us. So relaxing! Loungers were never really a problem, yes of course people claimed them early and disappeared but there were still plenty to go around. Wierd thing about Marrakech at this time of year is even though the sun was out and the skies were clear it was still fairly chilly till around 10am but then the temperature picks up nicely. The heated pool is at the far end of the Gardens but we were pleasantly surprised to find waiters would regularly wander around to take drink orders and deliver them to you! Special mention to Omar here who was an absolute star! The gardens of the hotel are full of trees and are a pleasant place to wander about. There's a tortoise enclosure over one side which was different and nice. There's an outside bar and entertainment area called fountains bar but we didn't spend any time there but did wander past of an evening when there was things going on and it looked good. Food. Fantastic. I'm a fairly fussy eater but there was such a wide and varied amount available you really can't go wrong. Hats off to the catering staff, outstanding. If you complain about this hotels food then you really shouldn't be going on holiday. Again, the waiting on staff were fabulous, some more than others but definitely no complaints. Rooms. OK, we paid extra for a balcony room but chose not to have a pool view as we didn't want the noise. We didn't have any noise but unfortunately we also didn't get any sun on our balcony either so that was a waste. If you want a sunny balcony get a pool or garden view room at this time of year otherwise you will be disappointed! If only this information had been available to us when we booked... we tried to upgrade but there was nothing available at the time. Other than that the room was good. Bed was huge and comfortable! Shower, fabulous! Cleaning staff were bright and friendly. Bottle of wine in the room on arrival, thank you! Tui staff. All friendly. Special mention to Sara who took us for our yoga and pilates classes and also hosted a quiz night. Great sense of humour and made the classes fun. Thanks! Zanib, the main host was also very helpful and friendly. Bars. All good. We're not big drinkers but enjoyed the odd beer and cocktail. Bottled water in plentiful supply though didn't have a problem with the ice or tap water either! Location. If you've come to Marrakesh then you've come to experience the city and the souks. Medina Gardens is perfectly situated just a short (less than 10mins) walk away. Sky bar. Open to the public and was busy when we went for a nosey. You get a discount on their food and drink but why pay when the hotels is fantastic and plentiful! Hotel also has a shisha bar in a beautiful old building. Extra charge for that if that's your bag. A free try night is also available to book. Anyway, rambled on a lot here. To sum up, we loved it. Staff were great, hotel was great, lots to see and do. Trips out were plentiful but this is a hotel review so I'm not going to detail them here. In a big world with lots of places to see and visit, we'd come back here...but we'd get a pool/garden balcony! If you're disappointed with Medina Gardens then you're a hard person to please...

Amazing hotel is a fantastic location, 10 minutes walk from the souks. Be sure to be careful when crossing the roads, you need to have your wits about you. If you dont like the haggling of the souks, there is a really nice artisan craft market opposite the gates of the hotel, with shops (spices, leather, straw, pottery, clothing, lights/lampshades). We didnt go, but wished we had gone to the park on the opposite side of the road. The hotel was fantastic with very helpful and extremely lovely staff. Rooms are clean and spacious, cleaned every day. Tea and coffee in the room, lovely orange/citrus blossom toiletries. The gardens are lovely and peaceful, hard to imagine you are in the centre of Marrakech. Food is outstanding...will return! Played French Boule with Zara (Tui rep) what a kind and professional lady, and a credit to Tui
