I would highly recommend Riad Anysattes for a stay in Marrakech. Great location close to the Souk. A beautifully decorated traditional Riad with lovely rooms. Everything about our stay was wonderful, from the clean and pretty individually decorated rooms, to the roof terrace, the freshly prepared food using ingredients purchased in the market that day, the courtyard with plunge pool,... Riad Anyssates, is better than an hotel, it's a really special guest house, with a dedicated welcoming. Valerie, the lanlord is so nice, she creates a perfect atmosphere betwneen all guests and all employees. Try also, in the Riad, the hamman and the massage just after a long walk in the souk, it's wonderfull. Let's enjoy the perfect week end... More

We arrived at Riad Anyssates New Years eve and stayed for 7 nights. We thought this Riad was just lovely, beautiful decor, wonderful roaring fire, quiet and friendly. The staff were lovely and very friendly but you do really need to be able to speak French to speak to them! Luckily Nicolas was on hand to assist when we needed... More

Situated in a quirky area with loads going on about a 15 min walk from the main square this riad is stunning! We had 2 rooms here the terrace room and Josephine. The terrace is great as you get the whole roof terrace to yourselves and has a very simple but lovely room and a great shower room. Josephine is... More

My family and I stayed in Riad Anyssates in August. We had a fabulous time and felt very welcome ... Thanks to the staff and Nicolas!! The Riad it's self was magical and had a real "home away from home" feeling. The staff were very attentive and cooked unbelievably well!! You will get lost in Marrakech but you will get... More

Riad Anyssates was the highlight and the indispensable cornerstone of our Marrakech visit. The Riad itself is beautiful, centrally located in the Medina, and decorated impeccably and authentically. Nicolas was the consummate attentive concierge and the Moroccan staff were fantastic. The refreshing plunge pool made Marrakech in August survivable, and the delicious mint tea, breakfasts, and tasty snacks served poolside... More

We have just returned from 5 nights in Riad Anyssates and overall we enjoyed it there. The Riad is a real oasis of tranquility after the bustle of the medina. As other reviewers have mentioned, language is an issue here if your french is less than fluent but we got by and the staff were lovely! Our room was great... More

Booked this Riad for a surprise 50th Birthday for my aunt and there were 15 members of an extended family so we booked the whole place. First time booking a Riad and not a hotel and felt slightly cheated with the experience. The website makes the place look like a true luxury place but it wasn't as nice in the... More

We loved our stay at Riad Anyssates. It was perfect. The room was beautiful, the staff friendly and the atmosphere was calm and relaxed. On the evenings that we had the place to ourselves, it was magical and romantic. When the other guests were around it was convivial and entertaining. We ate the two best meals we had in Morocco... I stayed at Riad Anyssates for 4 nights in October. Overall we had a pleasant stay and I felt more authentic, if this is really possible in such a touristy destination, than if staying in one of the luxury resorts/hotels outside of the medina. The Riad has a very tranquil, almost magical atmosphere, particularly at night. After the heat, hustle... More
