The rooftop terrace was wonderful, and we greatly enjoyed the late afternoon view of Marrakech and the Atlas mountains. The bar service on the terrace was another matter...this was t rulyawful. Despite three staff for the same number of tables, it proved impossible to attract anyone's attention to order a second drink. Another patron had the same complaint in the... More

The rooms are clean, but overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel. I suppose it depends what ur after but sharing the rooftop pool with pigeons definitely isn't a good thing. The breakfast is ordinary. We picked this hotel because it is supposed to be close to centre of town, it's not really. The view from the roof top is great... More

Spent 4 nights here in March 2012 and really enjoyed the stay. Our room was quite big with a nice ensuite bathroom. On arrival there was only one coat hanger in the wardrobe and there was no hairdryer. However as soon as I phoned reception they immediately brought a supply of hangers and a hairdryer. We were at the front... More

The large red sign - BAR - drew us in after a long dry day. The modern downstairs bar was comfortable and the staff very welcoming. We noticed that they had a restaurant so returned the following evening on spec. We were recognised, welcomed and swiftly escorted to the upstairs restaurant with great views over the city. The meal and... More

This hotel is located in the tourist area of Marrakech. If you like walking, most of the city can be explored from here. The hotel transfer from the airport is expensive but you can request a fixed price taxi on the way back from the hotel desk. On arrival, expect the check in to take some time. You will be... More

After reading reviews on trip advisor me and my wife booked and stayed at the Renaissance Hotel in December 2011. The reception staff welcomed us well after a struggle to haggle the taxi driver at the airport were we ended up paying 120 DIRHAMS (I would recommend you book transfers as taxi's can be a nightmare especially when you just... Its simple really, try spending the same nightly rate required here at another Marrakech hotel, you will find yourself in the glorified youth hostel/Riad bracket or a faceless "4 STAR" pink concrete monster. Sure, the aircon did occasionaly bump in the night and the one lift takes a little patience sometimes, but this hotel remains exceptional value for money in... More

The room had pleasant deco, but due to air con not working and making banging noises every 5mins our opinion changed quickly. During the night you can continuously hear the constant Marrakesh traffic, hardly making the room pleasant. Shocking of all, was after using the hammam, a cockroach was roaming the massage room! The staff hardly looked surprised and continued... More

clean hotel in convenient place. breakfast very good. service is very poor especially from the ladies on reception.although hassan always had a smile and asked how our stay was. the food and beverage manager was very friendly and efficient. could be a good hotel if sum of the staff attended charm school.

My wife and I stayed there a few days ago. Interesting location in the moderen sector of the city. The location was good with several places to dine and have a tea (mostly male cafes). We were not hassled as much as in the medina in this area. As far as our experience in this hotel. Well, let me begin... More
