Having just returned from Morocco, I would be remiss not to single out Princesse du Desert and the wonderful staff there. It is obvious from the minute you walk in that these people love their job and strive to make your stay memorable. In spending several nights in many riads, the large spacious room was well appreciated. After asking for... More

Great reception which included getting to the Riad through small alleys. Design is as expected from a well refurbished, decorated Riad in the traditional style. Nice mosaic fountain feature. Welcome tea was served before we unloaded in our bedrooms. The bedroom, mine was King, was absolutely gorgeous, big four poster bed, wonderful bathroom. Traditional deco. Spend some unforgettable moments in... More

The riad is charming as everyone says but the best bit was the family who made our stay, and I am sure everybody else's stay, delightful. Nothing was too much trouble and all done with a feeling of genuine caring and friendship. The helpfulness does not stop at the door either so there is no need to get lost in... More

Went in April to Marrakech with DW and 1 other couple (4 of us total, early 30s with some traveling experience, mainly across Europe, Turkey, etc) and were really very surprised at Riad Princesse du desert. While we had read a bunch of good reviews prior to going, we didn't know what to expect and the initial impression was tempered... More

My husband and I traveled Morocco for two weeks this spring and were very fortunate to end our stay at Riad Princesse in Marrakech. The Riad is beautifully restored and lovely to return to after a day experiencing Marrakech. Our stay was most amazing because of the staff at the Riad. Youssef could not have been more accommodating. Not only... More

The dinners that they prepared for us were amazing, and staying in the Medina was great. The decor was colorfully Moroccan. and gave us a real sense of place. One look and you know that you are in Morocco.

Welcoming and relaxed staff who immediately made it clear that their intent was to serve us well and easily .Tasteful Moroccan decor in a clean and well manged Riad . Youssef ( Mr. Fix-it) impressed us with his attitude that " there are no problems, only solutions " and adeptly applied this attitude to sourcing local ingredients to meet our culinary... More

My first visit and travelled with three others, all who had been to Marrakech before. We arrived on 31.01.13 for three nights. The taxi that we booked through the Riad was waiting for us at the airport and payment to the luggage boy who takes your luggage on a cart to the riad from the taxi went smoothly at the... More

Having visited Marrakech earlier in the year I was apprehensive that this riad may disappoint after our previous stay, which was wonderful, I should not have worried. The riad is in a perfect position, very close to everything that you would want to visit. The rooms, although on the small side, were beautifully presented and wonderfully clean. We were met... More

Marrakech was the last stop on our 20 day trip to Morocco. We were hoping that it was going to live up to the rest of our trip, which had been fantastic. We needn't have worried, we loved it!! From the moment we arrived here, we knew it was going to be perfect. Mustafa was there to greet us with... More
